Meeting up with friends after a long time has always been a fun time for myself. Especially when you've been in the same college for 4 years and we've been close ever since. So after some time of not meeting up, being confined to just the world wide web and msn chats, we of course will have to meet a human being once in a while to let each other know we're still alive, not an automated A.I. like the iGod.

Yumcha sessions are definitely a must during meet up sessions cause where else can you get cheap drinks while sitting for hours talking. And then the cock-talkings are always fun and well full of crap and at times useful and informative but most of the time, crappy.

Friend 1: I wonder why they call me so late. You know P** right, his name starts with 'P' and I am 'S' so it shouldn't be...
Friend 2: Yeah, we know you're an ass.
Friend 1: ... yes, as i was saying I....
Friend 2: Yeah, we definitely know you're an ass
Friend 1: *blur*blur*
All of us: Hahahahaahaha.....
Friend 1: Wait, wtf....

Topic of the night, jobs again. It seems like fresh grad's are always on this certain topic and we were mainly talking about taking up a job at BAT (British American Tobacco), the most evil corporation in the world that surpasses even President George Bush himself where it kills thousands each year and so I discover that it even kills employees too.

I guess it does takes minutes to kill yourself there.

You see at BAT, the pressure of working there is so high you will definitely resort to smoking. And of course what is more tempting than free ciggy's as well as free alcohol displayed over the counter. Imagine a ciggy dispenser machine where it is entitled 'Kill Yourself Here' with an outdoor booth that over a couple of other employees all smoking with you, turning into instead of a water dispenser machine chat space like normal offices have, it's more like a ciggy chat space where people chat and die.

The pay and benefits are good by the way, higher than average fresh grads but to get in itself is pretty tough. With a good pay comes an even greater price to pay or so I say. But hey if you would love to see bodies piling up at the main gate of the company, feel free to join them. I know I wouldn't mind a little controversy news happening just so that my blog has fresh content.

Wait a minute......

I am going to hell isn't it, wanting more bodies just so that my blog can get good stuffs. Sigh I guess my big ass horns are just getting bigger by the minute.

Still, I'm still awaiting my big ass gold trident =D

*I definitely need help sob sob*

  1. 3POINT8 Said,

I know that the BAT in syd got this cigarette counter (prices suppose to be cheaper) and its not free.

Btw, work there can mati wan.. All you can smell is the smell of tobacco only and its damn noisy...

  2. David Cheong Said,

3point8 - lol, here it's free. And actually know, you won't die. They have places for you to smoke and anywhere else beyond that is a non-smoking area.

It's only that the pressure of working there is super duper high, and the managements expects you to keep your standard if not bye bye haha

  3. BAT sounds okay to me, if you can resist the temptation to smoke. =D
