Nuffnang Wild ‘Live’ Blogging

When he posted? David Cheong On 2:07 PM 8 shengge's
Actually I really wouldn't know about this if it's not for the mass gmail chat of DGMBians in which all of us still love doing and still very active in it!

And I'm so proud to be a part of them, they're really awesome people...

So anyways yeah, Nuffnang is organizing another party whereby this time, instead of the usual party themes that we usually get such as pajamas party, or sleepover, or get-drunk-and-screw-a-car-exhaust party, they are going 'Wild, Loud and Hard' with an animal theme party!

That's right, you have to dress up as an animal, or wear anything that represents any animal. Be it a kuchi-rat, a horny cow, or even a hot pussy cat. And to get an invite to the party, one has to post a drawing or a picture of an animal of our liking and link it to the Nuffnang Wild 'Live' Blogging page.

So initially, I thought of doing this and even wanted to attend the party in this manner...

But I think people will freak over this miang crazy bunny!

And so instead of cracking my head thinking of imaginative creatures to put submit as my animal of choice such as the live size freaky bunny, how about something I have always admired.

Yup, the platypus.

And hey mind you, although it is a weird looking animal, how else can you find such an unique animal as cute as this and it's cute ok and totally awesome hmph!!! And because my drawing really sucks, so just a picture will do can?

The details regarding the Wild 'Live' Blogging party:

Time: 6.30pm - 10.00 pm
Date: 21st June 2008
Venue: Modesto’s/Rain, Desa Sri Hartamas
Dress code: Animal theme (Anything and everything animal will do. Come in your best impersonation of Catwoman, or be a bore in a T-shirt in animal prints. But surely, you’ll do more than that to win the Best Animal Costume prize.

And guess what, it's so freaking near to my work place. Just cross the street and my office is there wtf!

And to further gay-up my blog with cutesy wutsy animals, how about this clip which I got a very long time ago and till now I'm still saving the link wtf...

By the way, this event is sponsored by Maxis Broadband and if you ask me I think Maxis totally rocks! Oh well, other than the fact that I am a Maxis user haha!!!

PS: Chicks dig cute animal videos haha!!
PPS: Just in case you were wondering, the animal in the video is not a platypus but an otter! Unfortunately the otter did not morph into a platypus and I had to put the video up because as I said, chicks dig cute animal videos haha!

Photo Showcase #5

When he posted? David Cheong On 8:44 PM 8 shengge's
Today is photo showcase day again and I thought of doing something different.

Usually I'll provide pictures in full colored mode and it's getting kind of boring, and sometimes a different perspective offers a fresh new insight in the way we see things.

So, how about black and white?

Somehow I feel color blind already lol but nice? hehe...

HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE

How I Learnt To Drive Poster

Growing up in a family with thin, penetrable personal boundaries, Li’l Bit becomes the victim of an incestuous intimacy - Uncle Peck does not only teach his teenage niece to drive, but sexualises her childhood as well.Narrated through a series of bittersweet flashbacks, HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE is an honest, coming-of-age account on forgiveness, healing and growth – and how one can find light even from the unhealthiest of relationships.

HOW I LEARNED TO DRIVE was first produced in 1997 in New York City and has since been awarded, in addition to the Pulitzer: the Obie, the Drama Desk Award, the New York Drama Critics Award, the Outer Circle Critics Award, and the Lucille Lortel Award.

Featuring Amelia Chen, Johann Lim, Doreen Loo, Davina Goh and Mark Beau de Silva, with Kelvin Wong as Creative Director. Supported by Living Arts and Autodetailer.

American Idol Winner...

When he posted? David Cheong On 10:48 AM 6 shengge's
And the American Idol year 2008 winner is....

David lah, who else LOL!!!!

Just kidding..

David Cook is this year's American Idol winner!

David Archuleta was dominating this year's American Idol with his style of pop ballad type of songs but it came as to no surprise for myself who the winner would be. Now I'm not exactly and idol fan, but after an episode or 2 of watching these two go head-to-head against each other, it was really clear who would win.

Well, to me it is...

Although David Archuleta was of course the pre-determined winner of this year's idol, I felt that David Cook deserved it more. And with David Cook's rendition of Micheal Jackson's 'Billie Jean', now that totally blew me away and I loved it! But somehow, although Archuleta songs were pretty much likable to myself, the creativity and ability to wow the crowd points is more deserving to Cook.

But all-in-all, it all boils down to a single point..

And that all David's are totally awesome!!!!

LOL....

So freaking tired...

Reasons?

Bigger house = More Space = Larger Room = Broken Back = Super Tired = Fork Out More Money = Broke = GG!!

Sigh, anyways here's a picture of my house and well it's before we beautified it and I'm just to tired to take a picture of the after process.

Best???

Fishing My Way To Made Of Honor...

When he posted? David Cheong On 7:26 PM 11 shengge's
To tell you the truth, I have not played this game before even though it was advertised in the Nuffnang ads since so many weeks back. It didn't really seem all that appealing to me and seriously even the previous game did not attract me at all although some people loved playing it.

However, given the circumstances that trying this game and posting the score on my blog might help get me a free movie pass and dinner, of course my kiasu-ism instinct kicked in lah! And especially when I read KY's post on how KY pwned Boss Stewie in the game. So here was my try!

My first try, I think I did quite alright.

Second try, increased just by a little.

Third try, and it's my turn to pwn KY!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS: Dinner motivates me, especially if it's free LOL!
PPS: It certainly does help with a gaming mouse hahahahaha!!!!

Update:
Syok? hehe..

Nokia IAC Event

When he posted? David Cheong On 7:31 PM 5 shengge's
Another event post...

Been attending alot lately and I'm not really complaining but extremely overjoyed that I at least have some excitement to look forward to compared to my boring mundane life at work wtf haha!

So anyways yeah, a group of us bloggers had gotten VIP invites to the Nokia IAC event, in which of course the IAC stands for Independent Artists Club, hosted by Nokia, to bring up underground artists and undiscovered talent all across the country and expose them and I have to say, these new artists are freaking awesome and I mean it!

Not all of them are new as some have been around and are pursuing a different approach to their music, or gone into solo or group acts but they came back better than ever!

A glimpse of the happenings and such?

Do check them out HERE because you know, our country's local act can definitely be comparable to international acts as well! Hey, they're awesome ok, I totally dig our local acts scene! Great stuffs they produce.

Of course what better way to end the night other than a little VIP gathering and dinner up at The Loft, Zouk after the show's ended. A good way to catch up, meet new people, create havoc, as well as of course cam-whore and free food people! Oh and beer as well wtf!

By the way, big thanks to Davidlian and Nigel for the VIP invites...

But of course how can I not post this. Like the DGMB outing the other day, how about another funny picture of Thomas can? Give you big big one some more haha!!!

Photobucket

LOLROFLWTFBBQSAUCE!!!!

Oh and did I mentioned I got interviewed?

I so hate you guys for pushing me up there wtf!!!
