which was literally decided on the day before.....
Well not exactly the day before but we were bent on going somewhere and the destination was only decided the day before and we weren't exactly sure whether or not it'll be a day trip or an overnight one. Yeah, we've been known to just wing everything on the spot without any planning and sometimes it just adds a bit more excitement and fun to the whole trip.
And so, on the morning of my birthday, which was 1st October, me and Jen met up with my friends Ferron, his gf and Bugs. Although we pretty much had the destinations in mind on where to go, even penned down on a piece of paper, heck we did not exactly know where everything was and we thought that we should just walk around and by God, we were awesome indeed. We actually went through 80% of the list, being the last 20% was a bit too far off where were going so we ditched it.
And I just love the smell of chicken rice balls in the morning!
How can we not have any chicken rice balls when we go Melaka, even the awesome cendol that everybody else in the world loves but not me, as well as the pineapple tarts!!! There's something about being surrounded by awesome food in old historic buildings that just makes people even hungrier, weird....
Damn it I still have cravings for those chicken rice balls. Don't know why loh, can never get enough one, I just love my chickens and balls lol! I'm not exactly sure why but Malacca seems to have one too many temples, churches and masjids but they are all awesomely structured. I have always admired the architecture of these buildings.
After all the walking around, there is always hunger lingering and maybe that's why I seem to be fatter than usual, crap! But anyways, highlight of the day was the search for a place to rest for the night. Going from one hotel to another, being the scrooge we are, we were keen on looking for a comfortable, cheap and nice budget hotel to stay the night.
And we actually found one!
Going at RM120 a night for a family room with a double queen sized bed, air-conditioned and even a bathroom with hot water in it, the five of us were pretty much happy with it already and got all comfy in the room without much hesitation considering the previous hotel before this was in a much worse condition and it was more expensive.
The night was pretty much still young and dinner was decided to be at Wong Kok although it tasted pretty much like KL anyways so we felt right at home, apart from the muckiest yuckiest tasting plain water which tasted worse than garbage yuck! Even after changing it, it still tasted the same wtf....
The next day was again filled with exploration and having a look see of other places which we did not get to see the previous day and with the sky so blue, it was an awesome day to geek-out. The pictures turned out amazing, with an awesome blue of the sky, giving off an un-Malaysia type of feeling to it.
Seriously the pictures did not look like it was taken here at all!
All in all, it as a pretty eventful an awesome trip with close friends that I barely see much these days due to myself staying so far now, as well as tiring but a happy one indeed. The trip back was pretty fast as being the useless guy I am, I slept all the way and at the end of the day, it was dinner and ice cream with Jen at Sushi Groove and Baskin Robbins in 1 Utama.
Sigh I miss my holidays lol!!
Can't believe I took so much pictures that filled up 7 albums in facebook, well this is just the beginning anyways. I still haven't gotten down to finishing up my church camp pictures which was taken back in August, early August to be exact.
I'm so dead lol!
I seriously do not know where else to post this, but I saja wanna whore my pictures only haha! Enjoy lol...
