Recently I was alerted by a fellow blogger on a conference focusing on fighting HIV and AIDS, which is organized by Popjammerz and it is directed to youths and young working adults age 18-25. This is a conference aimed to educate young people on the dangers of contracting HIV/AIDS from unprotected sex and various other information regarding this disease.
The conference, which is themed at 'Mission Possible' is a pretty catchy theme in which of course it means that ain't impossible to educate youths on the dangers oh contracting this extremely incurable disease. Even if a cure is found, there is no reason to go 'fooling around' just for the fun of it cause as they say, 'Prevention Is Obviously Better Than Cure'.

Various activities include:
- Meeting awesome people (You could meet your soul-mate hehe)
- Having conversations with people who are living with HIV/AIDS
- Information regarding camps and activities to help fight the cause
- Prizes to be won, as well as lucky draws.
Priced at only RM78 for the entry, this experience is of course better than contracting a disease you will have trouble with for the rest of your life. Heck, the process of course is enjoyable especially with the amount of chicks/guys you go through but the outcome is one painful experience you wouldn't want to experience.
Venue: UPM, Selangor, Malaysia
Date: 1 - 4 May 2008
Entrance Fee: RM78
Target Age: 18 - 25 years
I find it sad actually that people who are supposed to be aware of this a.k.a adults are the ones at fault and most of the time, the innocent children will have to pay for their mistakes. Although indirectly, this should be considered murder! These children would not be able to enjoy any life that us lucky ones get to experience. Do consider helping out, fight for this cause, raise an awareness and help fight for a better future for our future generation.
