Nigel's Birthday Celebration @ TGI Fridays

When he posted? David Cheong On 3:37 PM 10 shengge's
Before I do the DGMB bbq party post, this one takes priority first for it is our first DGMB member birthday celebration!

Congratulations Nigel, you are now old!!!!

Ok, that was a joke lol. So anyways, it's been a while since I last stepped foot into TGI Fridays and that was where the celebration was held. Not much that I can say about the food though except that this particular one was, woah!!!!

Don't recognise it? That's cause it's not on the menu lol!

It's actually a candy that Sheng Mae brought back from her trip in Aussie and there were other candies as well. Definitely more than enough to make me go super fuyooohhhhh and extra sugar high! By the way, if you did not know, the froggy chocolates by Cadbury can also be bought here, tsk tsk!

*Smacks self in the head*

Now back to the topic at hand, and so anyways 25 years old Nigel. How does it feel? More matured? Smarter? More *cough* hensem LOL! More femes? Definitely more femes right since someone is in Krabi now hmph!

And of course spending time with the DGMBians is never a bore. Good times are always there, no matter the occasion and when it comes to birthdays, we'll shower each other with gifts! A couple of shirts courtesy of Sheng Mae and Sheng Li all the way from Aussie, even the box and paperbag as well lol, a group picture of all of us at our first outing together back then as well as a carved keychain and card from the DGMBians, and the most paling potong steam that was given first instead of the others....

A frigging Ipod Shuffle, I so jeres lol!

Yes Hwei Ming, your fault hmph!

Hahaha just kidding, you know we love you lol! By the way Hwei Ming, I'm already composing my birthday wish list yeah, so get it for me before you leave for UK lol!

Amy got Nigel a cake from Cuppacakes by Wondermilk and it's so cool!

Call me a jakun but it's not everyday that you see mini cupcakes made into a birthday cake and also included loads of designs in it! I wonder if I could get mini ice cream cakes as my birthday cake next time or not lol *hint*hint*

And as a tradition of all our gatherings, a group photo!

Here's to you Nigel, for being a great friend to all of us, a family, and of course my bff haha! Enjoy yourself in Krabi and remember, Krabi gifts! LOL...

And to Kel Li, thanks for planning all of these out, we love you!

For more pictures from the party, check it out at my album in facebook here!

*Pst Kel Li, make sure he behaves in Krabi k lol!*

KLUE Urbanscape, Outdoor Happenings

When he posted? David Cheong On 12:24 AM 0 shengge's
Final post on KLUE Urbanscape, I swear!

Sometimes I hate doing long-winded posts like these. Maybe I should come up with a new way to do it you know lol! Then it wouldn't be so boring lololol

But anyways, let's get back to Urbanscape first. Now there was a booth that held some guitar game competition whereby the public is able to play, practice and even join the competition for free. But it wasn't my type of game so I didn't really pay much attention to it lol!!!

And just beside it was the outdoor concert area!

But sad to say at the time I was there, they were still doing the sound and other tests but the set-up of the stage was great, ample amount of space to laze around and sadly, I didn't get to enjoy a single concert there. Only a short piece of music when a band was doing some preliminary sound tests.

We left at about 3 something about 3 something to attend an even more special event! What else other than the DGMB bbq party!

That one next post only lah...

KLUE Urbanscape, The marketplace

When he posted? David Cheong On 7:29 PM 0 shengge's
*Warning, this post is super duper heavily pictured! Never in this blog's life has it ever done this before. So,enjoy lah....*

After exploring what's on the inside, we head on to the outside.

Now the main reason why inside came first is still the same as the previous post. It was freaking hot damn it! It still makes me wonder how the people outside survived the heat. Yes, I hate being in the heat, and I know I'm hot lol pun definitely intended hehe...

Despite the heat, many were roaming around the marketplace, browsing through many wonderful stuffs available to buy. Many different shops were available as well, from Palate Palatte, to the Hitz.fm area, and even *cough* exquisite lingerie shops.

And these aren't your normal everyday lingerie. In fact, they were how shall I say this, ok lah I'll put it this way. Most men, would love to see their partners wearing these instead of their normal ones and their sausages will grow even longer than normal haha!

Anyways ignore that!

Basically the marketplace was divided into 2 for god knows what reason. One which looks more or less like a bazaar, whereas the other a bit more organized. The bazaar was a bit more happening compared to the other side but price-wise, it ain't really much of a difference. I only did notice a selected few stores that had cheaper stuffs but not everyone of it was cheap.

Even Cuppacakes was there!

Decorations of their shops were pretty awesome as well!

People manning the shops were of course exceptionally friendly and helpful despite the random heatwave.

Oh by the way, if you missed it, one shop even gave away free condoms and lighters to the public and I took one just for fun!

But what really did amaze me was the fact that despite totally unpleasant and harsh weather, many would still come and browse around and it is commendable seeing how sporting our community is!

Youth's people, that's what we are!

Just beside the bazaar was a pretty little hill with decorations enough to make girls go 'Ooooo got lil itty bitty colorful fans!' And of course anybody who has a camera would go right down to taking pictures at this particular hill!

Ferron also cannot resist, must show nice pose lol!

Oh well, even myself lah!

Nais???

But hey, we ain't done yet!

Not all performances were indoors. There were other's as well on the outside and of course a game that provides real great entertainment, well for those who love playing it I guess lol...

Stay tuned!

KLUE Urbanscape, The introduction and indoor!

When he posted? David Cheong On 9:26 PM 4 shengge's
For those that guessed, hurray for you!

And for those that didn't, you suck! Haha not that the picture provided any clues anyway. So yeah, I attended the KLUE Urbanscape event, held at KLPAC whereby I had a freaking media pass baby, courtesy of Robb from Nuffnang.

Me and Ferron with our media passes...

It started off pretty well. I was there quite early and they were still setting everything up at about 10 something. One thing you have to admire is that although the little time they have of preparation, is their tenacity and quickness in preparing everything and as well as delivering really awesome stuffs.

For example, I had never been to KLPAC. Never! And so being the jakun I was, it was ooooo's and ahhhhh's everywhere I went. Heck I even ahhhhhhed at even this!

Yes, you don't you dare say anything! I love designs, especially ones that differs from the usual ones you see everyday. Anything cool, I would wow at it but ignore that! Upon entering the indoor complex or whatever you call it, this really did wow me dua kali ganda till can die die till three times also still can die another time!

Now that is what I call creativity!

I love towers, I love jenga's, I love things that looks like a spaceship but in actual fact it doesn't, and yeah I love weird and interesting stuffs. Other stuffs caught my eyes as well, and I still wonder why I did not take up multimedia, design or whatever. Maybe I should do a second degree hehe...

But anyways, here are pictures of some of the arts, photographys, and stuffs they had there.

People started filling up at around 1 something, and most of them opt for the arts first because those were the first things in sight and of course not to mention to escape the heat. But really, the only complain I had was the heat on that day. For some reason, it was so hot, hotter than normal days.

But that is better than raining lol, although it did rain in the later part of the evening and OAG even cancelled their gig if I'm not mistaken due to the rain. But no matter what, I still find this weird. For some reason, there was somebody video recording, but not the public or anything that goes on. Instead, it was the artworks.

Yup, this is the era where humans aren't as important compared to art lol!

Upstairs, there was a bazaar going on. Now don't be mistakened as there was a marketplace outside as well. Maybe the ones inside paid more to be located in an air-conditioned environment but who knows right, as long as they are smart! Outside was freaking hot damn it!

And I love stressing on that!

How many times have you seen a chinese guy doing Henna?

I had never before heard of KLickr group in which it is actually a Flickr group by KL-lites who loves photography. I should probably join them huh? But kudo's to them for most of the pictures taken by them, me likey! And the videos were exceptionally interesting as well as well awesome!

Performances were held upstairs as well, and I only entered one in which it was the aucustic room. Very nice performances by our local artistes, both known and not well-knowned. Exceptionally talented and I love most of they're stuffs! Now if only I knew where I could get their works lol.

Before...

After....

Now that this series is done, next up let's go outside!
