On 21st April 2007, Good Charlotte came down to KL & gave one hell of a performance down at Bukit Jalil Parking A area & it was by the, the best thing that has happened in quite some time! They are one of those few performers that can perform live almost perfect & this time, the sound system was not a kill buzz compared to the Linkin Park concert when they came down a few years back in which that time, it was horrible.. If it weren't for Chester Bennington's ability to overcome the flaw in the sound system, I would say it sucked shit! But this time however, the sound was good, from beginning till the end.. A few local acts gave one hell of a show to for the opening acts, in which first up was One Buck Short, then came Estranged, then lastly the ever sleepyhead newspaper man Jason Lo!! Well, after all that, when Good Charlotte came on, all the waiting time made it worthwhile as it was a blast!!! Well, not to bore you anymore, here's some pics from the day =)
We were lining up starting from 6, was quite near the entrance gates & when I entered, I couldn't believe it but i was molested *crap*!! The stupid guards were body checking people, making sure nobody brought in anything illegal, they even had the small metal detector thingy. Felt like my whole body was being scanned through geezz .....
After a while, things started to heat up as more & more people started pouring in. We were quite lucky we got there early & got the perfect sweet spot that anybody would want at that hour! A place to lean, loads of space to jump round, & not that hot. Heck, we even got interviewed by Malaysia's very own, Ashraf Sinclair for his TV show on Astro called Beat TV! Well seeing I DO NOT have Astro, I don't know what kinda show is that & worst of all, I can't watch myself on tv *sob*sob* :'(
And the show started, you have to excuse the pictures though as I DO NOT have an SLR camera, only a camera phone :(
And the show ended, we were tired but happily taking pics of ourselfs, cam-whoring to be exact (Excuse the amount of pics taken during the concert as mostly what was taken was video clips :p)
Thus ends the day that Good Charlotte came & rocked KL, we await them on their next tour back here in I say, a very looooong time =p PEACE!*Pictures Taken With My New K800i*
