Note: All shots are taken with my Minolta 50mm f1.7 lens!

Last Sunday, me, Ferron and bugs finally ventured to the Butterfly Park located in Taman Tasik Perdana, KL.

We've been talking about wanting to go for almost a month but we never really gotten to it because almost every week, one of us will be busy and it kinda sucks actually. And with me staying so far away now, it's now even tougher to go on photo shootings with them but nevertheless a bit of effort always pays off.

Question: How much do you think the entrance into Butterfly Park would cost?

a. RM5
b. RM10
c. RM15
D. RM20

Take a guess.......

I'm sure most of you would have at least guessed (b) or even (c) and at least some would opt for (a) and thankfully the answer is not (d). The correct answer is, (c)! Yup, that's how expensive the entrance is IF you did not bring your MyKad, and if you did, well lucky you. You get to pay only RM8 for entrance and that is STILL freaking expensive but what the heck, might as well since you're there right?

And I guess it did pay off.

I mean, have you been paying attention to these shots I took?

Nice? Best? Even I myself am amazed I took these. Well of course a bit of adjustment in brightness, darkness and contrast in photoshop is done but which photographer doesn't right?

And I hope I am improving, am I?

*Darn it, wish I had the 70-300mm Sigma Macro lens sigh...*

1 day late but what the heck, this I just have to show...

So yeah, another week has past and photo showcase is here again. And if you think my black and white picture was nice, wait till you get a load of this. These shots combines panning, light graffiti and wireless flash photography.

Basically me, Ferron and bugs were out on Sunday having a photography session and all of a sudden, this idea came about and next thing we know, we spent almost an hour doing it. Well, almost!

So enjoy...

*Disclaimer: None of this photos were photoshopped except in terms of watermarking. What you see is what you get!

Hillsongs United Concert

A weee bit late on posting this but what the heck...

I attended the Hillsongs United concert on Wednesday and what can I say, there are seriously no words to even begin to describe it. Well, if there was a word that could describe even more than awesome or legendary, yeah that would be it.

Held at Glad Tidings, PJ, it actually amazed me as to how big the church was and I really did not think it would be so big. From the front, it looks just like an ordinary building, but the sanctuary itself was like an auditorium that could fit thousands of people. Heck even I could not believe it myself when I first got there, seeing so many people.

They started out with a fantastic bang that rocked the entire crowd. Everybody was cheering, even before they came on stage, people were cheering. But yes it is kind of typical for a concert crowd to cheer whenever something measly happens but hey, what are concerts for.

All in all, the concert was fantastic. For those who missed it, you don't know what you missed. For all it's worth, Rm50 for the ticket is just a small price to pay for something as awesome as this.

But if you did miss it, don't worry. I'm sure next time will have again, well I think haha!!

Project Trafford Introduction

Note: I have updated my score on the Fishing My Way To Maid of Honor post! Do check it out..

Another Nuffnang related post!

Nuffnang is also organising a new project in which it involves bloggers (duh!) whereby a group of 40 will be selected out of hundreds of applications and they will be divided into groups of 5 and each are lead by a more experienced and popular blogger to guide them.

Codename for the project: Project Trafford...

Wondering why it's called Project Trafford? You'll find out soon enough *wink*. So anyways yeah, this project is actually organised by Mister Potato in conjunction with promoting a contest to enable winners to win a trip to Old Trafford (opps did I just said it out loud?).

The objective of this project?

Well in order to promote the Mr Potato contest, we in a groups of 6 including our leader have to come up with a game plan strategy on how to win the 30 tickets together as a group. That's right, 30 tickets to a freaking football match in Old Trafford woootttt! Now I'm not much of a foottie fan but with a prize such as this, I'm so gonna go!

Right group members?

Oh by the way, these are the awesome group members that I will be working with. And of course do check them out, they are really awesome bloggers with huge creativity as well as interesting write-ups ranging from all sorts!

Leader: Ringo

Group Members:

a) tougeking.blogspot.com/
b) copykate.blogspot.com
c) angelicassie.blogspot.com/
d) royalshortness.blogspot.com/
e) charleschua.blogspot.com/

And hey with a leader as awesome as Ringo, how cool is that! I wonder if we could get Cheddie to be our official mascot. Hmmmm....

Hope Ringo doesn't mind =p

If not also can always put my darling Wookie hehe...

And so we'll be in touch with each other working as a group to come up with something creative in order to promote the campaign ad for Mr. Potato in which it is the contest for Mr. Potato! Seriously while writing this post, I have some serious cravings for Mr. Potato chips now ftw?

Anyways for more information, do check out the official website of Mr Potato here.

I'm so gonna go 7-11 and grab me some Mr. Potato now lololol....
