What started out to be a really exciting new journey turned out to be a real tiring one...

3

All thanks to the Avril Lavigne concert the previous night where in the end, I only had a total amount of less than two and a half hours of sleep. Just to be clear, I was attending the Sony Photo outing in Sungai Congkak, Selangor.

2
Cam-whoring before an outing is always a must!

Designated time of meet was at 6.45, and I left my house at 6. Broke my record of reaching Midvalley from Klang in about half-an-hour, other than the fact that there wasn't any jam. Met Ewin there, and Chad as well and a whole lotta other Alpharians which was actually quite interesting considering the most Alpharians that I have met before does not exceed 2 or 3 people but here I was, with almost 30 other of them.

Awesome ain't it!

1

So basically, we were divided into a few groups, and in each team we were to work in another teams of 2, in which my partner was Chad! Learnt a whole lot from the other members and also my group leader who was so awesome in lending me his Sony 100mm F2.8 macro lens.

4

A lot of nature pictures were taken, well considering the theme of the day was about nature so hence a lot of streams and leafs and plants and rocks and all kinds of nature-ral things are in the pictures haha!

5

To tell you the truth, this is my first time taking pictures close to a stream. In fact, this is the first time taking pictures of rivers and streams and manipulating it into a 'Dragon Beard' photo. Wanna know what it is, here's a sample of it!

15

Syokness right, here are some more!

In the end, it was really a tiring but fun trip and I totally enjoyed and learnt a lot from it. We each had to submit 3 of our best pictures for the organizers to review and comment but in the end, I didn't really feel like submitting my best ones because I didn't feel like it!

Yeah, I'm like that lol!!!!

7

The bunch of people that I met were really cool, in fact it was kind of awesome seeing so many different types of gears ranging from the most expensive ones to the awesome big gun ones. Although I do agree that different equipment gives of a batter picture, in the end the photographer determines the quality of it so it didn't really matter to me anyways although I would have loved to get my hands on those awesome babies.

So anyways, here are some of them in action!

Just to create alot more wastage of internet space, I might as well upload somemore pictures for all to see, just some random ones lol!

Nice? Haha!

Anyways, now that this series is done, let's move on to the Nuffnang Sharing Session at Itallianesse!

Ever awesome DGMB satay celup party!

When he posted? David Cheong On 9:09 PM 6 shengge's
After being disappointed by Sloggi at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach, me and Jen then hurried off to get some supplies for the DGMB satay celup party, well sort of lah..

9
Awesome picture of us!

Definitely not before having some McDonald's ice cream first before going haha!

1
Sheng Mae tunjuk pose
2
Nadia also tunjuk pose wtf

And so, we headed of to Taman Seapark, somewhere near SS2 PJ to get some famous Hokkien Mee and they're specialty, fried lala and it freaking took me almost 1 and a half hour to wait for the food because the cook was not there yet wtf. But anyways, in the end my entire car smelt of food and we were freaking hungry haha.

8

Location of the DGMB satay celup party was at Hwei Ming's house and might I tell you, it is freaking huge. I think it's twice my current house haha but I never got to explore the whole house yet... Company was good, altogether 22 people were present including guests.

3
4

Not to mention a surprise drop-in by Amy who didn't notify any of us except for Hwei Ming and Aaron that she was back in KL. Yes I hate you Amy for not telling hmph! Faster leave lah lol just kidding hahaha. Even Sheon, the DGMB daddy came, haha!!!

21
7

There were loads of food, and here I was at first worried about whether there will be enough food or not, a bit sad right lol. Laughter's filled the compound, water balloons later flew here and there and I ate a Silk Worm while Hwei Ming had a Locust. Amy too had a Silk Worm, curtosy of Sheon whom I think brought it back from his holiday.

20

It tasted salty though but not bad!

22

After a bit of talking kok, we then succumbed to Kel Li's sinful plate of desire, the chocolate fondue where we were then dipping marshmallows and bananas in it. It was tempting to try the Silk Worm with the chocolote fondue though but the others would have gave me one hell of a beating after that so I hessitated.

17

Then halfway through the fondue, Curryegg had to leave so we rushed inside to take a couple of group photos. Well words do no justice, so here are they:

11
10
The DGMB Daddy wtf haha..

Definitely a bunch of whackos we are!

5

We then proceeded back to the fondue and for a round of emo and old school songs lead by Nigel and his guitar. Seriously when you start singing Moffatts's 'I Miss You Like Crazy' in a party, there is definitely something wrong! With jiwangness in the air, everybody was singing until the wee hours and I was surprised there wasn't anybody complaining.

Would have been even more fun though lol!

6

Since everybody had a long day, we then decided to call it a night and some still had the energy to go mamak while I went off back home. A fun party, an eventful one and yet somehow disturbing in a way hmmmm!

Disturbing how?

Coming up in the next post lol!

An aftermath of Sloggi

When he posted? David Cheong On 1:13 PM 3 shengge's
I know you were all dying to see people in swimsuits and stuffs, well most people I guess.

DSC04117
Most of them were completely clothed

I even had a friend asking me where were the ladies in swimsuits. But somehow, compelling it may be or shall I say tempting it may be, in the end I refused to post it on this blog because somehow I don't agree with posting these kind of pictures to be displayed here. Seriously, it somehow affects my consciences to post some lady's or rather ladies in swimsuits picture here without their consent.

But if you really do want to see it, head on HERE to see it for yourself.

Enjoy.....

Sloggi presents art for humanity!

When he posted? David Cheong On 9:08 AM 1 shengge's
Yesterday a last minute plan to attend an event came into mind!

5

And it was the Sloggi event held in Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach. Now at first I was pretty much skeptical over an event held there ever since the first and I really wanna say last hell-hole event that was also held there, aka the Roxy Summersplash event.

13

So in the end, I didn't really expect much as all I wanted and was looking forward to was the free entrance and of course chicks in bikini's to take snapshots of. I dragged Hsu Jen with me as the redemption of the pass gives us 2 passes actually with just one printout.

11

The one and only thing that I really really loved about this event was the people! Yup, I couldn't help but be paranoid over the fact that since it was a free entrance event, I would have expected it to be packed with humans all over the place to the brim of where if a bomb were to explode in that area itself, it could lower the Malaysian population by half, seriously!

1

But nah, it wasn't!

4

Loads of pretty cool (and mostly boring) stuffs were there such as a booth that offers patrons to cash in on prizes for free (I think). The thing about Malaysians is, no matter what, if there is something to be won, especially if it requires no other conditions other than you participating, we would all do what it takes to get it! Super kiasu-ism I call it...

9

I mean check out the line! Awesome ain't it. And this was not all, the back was also filled with humans and of course lines of humans wtf...

8
12

Rain, shine, wet or dry, nothing can ever stop us from getting free stuffs! Aren't we proud of ourselves wtf. Oh for your information, I would rather die than to be stuck in a queue first haha! So screw the line-up-for-free-stuffs que for me, I ain't Malaysianised hehe...

3

A booth was set up for people to purchased Sloggi products for less than normal prices. At first glance, the products that Sloggi was selling appears too common and plain but actually next to the booth, was a station for customers to actually customize their purchases with many different designs.

7
6

So it is quite cool apart from having 2 guys going through what you bought as it is haha! Oh wait, and the highlight of the day?

2
Check me out posing with undergarments wtf...

It freaking rained! And apart from that there were only 9 chicks in bikinis out of well, hundreds of people there! Yup, it was countable even with your fingers. It was kind of a put-off and I would have to say, thanks to the rain, it made the event pretty much boring for me and if you had missed it, it's safe to say you didn't miss much unless you were gunning for the bargains there!

10
The goodie bags

Somehow it's like a curse! Whenever there is an event there, only one place will be happening and the rest will practically be sucky! And in the end, the sucki-ness sort of sucks up all the happening aura from it and makes the entire event sucky as well! Oh well, lets see what's in store in the future lah yeah!

Next up, the DGMB Satay Celup Special!
